About You  

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 


	Demonstrated management experience and strong leadership skills and service delivery in a related industry, preferable in student and/or residential services
	Demonstrated ability to manage critical and complex incidents and has strong problem-solving skills.
	A strong passion, understanding and empathetic on the personal and academic needs of tertiary students.
	Proven ability to manage teams to maintain compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements.
	Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with stakeholders and contractors.


Qualifications


	Degree (and/or postgrad) qualifications in a relevant field such as property management, commerce or social services and relevant experience in providing student services and/or accommodation / property services, or equivalent.

Lead and deliver the new Active Wellbeing Physical Activity Service which is being funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Working with the Active Wellbeing Manager and Sport & Exercise Science department to develop specialised physical activity support for a wide range of long-term health conditions and reduce health inequalities. You will deliver a high-quality specialist exercise service within Surrey Sports Park, on campus and local community venues. 

About you

You will be minimum level 3 exercise referral qualified and have a solid understanding of prescribing exercise programmes to those living with long-term health conditions.

About Us

The Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) is a vibrant faculty based in the heart of London with a long tradition of world-leading research and teaching in physics, mathematics, chemistry, informatics, engineering and natural sciences. 

​This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the research operations team that a wide-ranging research funding portfolio across our five departments.

Reporting to the Senior Research Operations Manager in the NMES Faculty Office at the Strand Campus, this is an integral role focused on supporting the departmental research operations teams and working on projects aimed at improving the service that we provide to academics.

About the role

The Senior Research Operations Officer will provide high-quality support to the team of research administrators across the Faculty and work closely with the research management team in the Faculty office to support the implementation of new, and the improvement of existing, processes. The successful candidate will also work on the delivery of Faculty projects aimed at improving the service that we provide to academics across the broad remit of research operations. 

The post will report to the Faculty’s Senior Research Operations Manager.

The Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES) comprises Chemistry, Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics, and Physics – all departments highly rated in research activities and a wide-ranging portfolio of education programmes.

About you

	A PhD or progress towards, in a discipline relevant to Osteopathy, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration and ideally over five years of professional experience as a practicing Osteopath
	Demonstrated capability in tertiary teaching and curriculum development with awareness of accreditation requirements and contemporary educational standards and practices
	Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and flexible learning experiences using blended and online technologies, including interactive digital content
	A developing or established research track record, with publications and experience supervising higher degree research students, appropriate to your academic level
	A strong commitment to equity, workplace health and safety, and cultural diversity
	
		Additional requirement at Level C:
		
			Successful leadership experience in teaching and research, and collaboration with industry partners
		
		
	
	


Salary and benefits

This is a full-time, continuing position at Academic Level B, or C based at our Gold Coast campus. Generous relocation support is available to those relocating to commence the appointment. The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.


	Academic Level B: $110,611 - $130,814 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $153,052.
	Academic Level C: $134,848 - $155,046 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $181,403.

Job Description:

The Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Systems at Hong Kong Baptist University invites applications for the above positions. Faculty members in the Marketing discipline regularly publish their research in top-tier marketing journals such as Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Marketing Research. Research-focused applicants interested in joining our vibrant and growing team are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are looking for candidates who (i) hold a PhD in Marketing or a related field with expertise in quantitative marketing and empirical modelling utilising applied economics and statistical methods such as structural modelling, causal inference, or machine learning techniques; and (ii) are open-minded and committed to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants for the Research Assistant Professor position should demonstrate strong potential in research and teaching. Applicants for the Associate Professor or Assistant Professor positions should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching and be prepared to collaborate with colleagues. Evidence of the ability to publish in top-tier journals and secure external competitive research grants is required. The compensation package, teaching loads, and research support are highly competitive.
